Same test, same result
British Council, IDP and AEO all deliver the same IELTS
IELTS is jointly owned by Cambridge Assessment English, the British Council and IDP. Cambridge writes and marks the test; British Council and IDP are the two global delivery partners who run test centres and bookings. In Pakistan, IDP delivers its IELTS test through AEO, its official local test-centre network. Whichever of the three you book through, you sit the identical test, get marked to the same certified-examiner standard, and receive the same Test Report Form — accepted equally by every university, employer and immigration authority that recognises IELTS.

Cambridge Assessment English, British Council and IDP are the three official co-owners of IELTS. AEO is IDP's authorised test-centre partner in Pakistan, delivering IDP's identical IELTS test, marking standard and Test Report Form under license. Test fees are set against the same official rate across all three, with only minor city-based variation — always confirm the exact fee on your chosen provider's booking page. Logos and brand colours belong to their respective owners.
